Summer School on Green Chemistry September 24-30, 2011 Göttingen, Germany
Hey everybody!
We are a group of Chemistry students from Germany, who are currently dealing with the question:
How can Chemistry contribute to a more sustainable society?
To investigate this question, we are going to offer a "Summer School on Green Chemistry" in September. The Summer School aims at Chemistry postgraduates (Master (e.g. MSc) and PhD students) from Germany and all over Europe to provide a possibility to gain insight into this subject and get an overview on different topics within it. Furthermore, cooperation and cultural exchange between students from different countries shall be promoted. There will be lectures in the morning and in the afternoon as well as tutorials in which different topics can be discussed in detail by smaller groups of participants. The Summer School will take place from September 25th to 30th, 2011 at the Faculty of Chemistry of Georg-August-University, Goettingen.
